Amy Elizabeth is keeping the wonderful art of calligraphy, penmanship and hand-lettering alive. The founder of 5th Floor Designs is a creative educator based in Illinois with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Edcuation focused in Two-Dimensional Design and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. Integrated into her current K12 educator career, she created this secondary design outlet to provide her creative passion with affordable classes and low cost workbooks. For over the last 20 years, she delivers outstanding results across 4 areas: Calligraphy services, Creative Coaching, Classes, and Workbooks to students from preK through adult ages. Her workbooks are often given away to the people she handwrites with and she also volunteers her calligraphy services to non-profit organizations. Classes
A variety of classes for beginning handwriters to journaling for any age. In-person classes in the Chicago area. Take a look for a class that will supplement your creative habit.
Workbooks
Learn It Yourself (LIY) Workbooks are a self-paced aid to help you write in the beauty of calligraphy and drawing letters. Grab a pen, download, print and begin learning!

I believe that handwriting is all we have left to call our own. My purpose in life is to create. When I get one person to want to create, then I have nourished my creative soul.
